Role Summary
The Job holder will coordinate formulation and coordination of implementation of policies and strategies on registration of members, collection of contributions, administration of member benefits and claims, marketing & customer experience and safeguarding members records.
Duties and Responsibilities
(i) Ensuring proper receipting of claims from documentation section, sorting and batching for awarding into the system;
(ii) Ensuring verification of benefits claims to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation;
(iii) Coordinating award of claims in system to determine amounts payable and bank details of payee(s);
(iv)Ensuring generation of payment information reports and filing in claim files appropriately;
(v) Overseeing examination of payment information details, endorsement and dispatch of claims to authorization section through the system;
(vi)Responding to customer’s enquiries and complaints; and
(vii)Participating in marketing campaigns, including activations, media management & experiential campaigns.
Requirements for Appointment
(i) Served for a cumulative service period of nine (9) years, three (3) of which must be at the grade of Senior Benefits Administration Officer, or a comparable position;
(ii)Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized Institution;
(iii) Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized
institution;
(iv) Membership to a professional body and in good standing;
(v) Proficiency in computer applications;
(vi) Fulfilled requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution; and
(vii) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
