Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Job holder will provide facilitation of inventories and disposal of assets duties in compliance with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA), 2015, and Regulations (PPADR), 2020. Responsible for all store activities including storekeeping, stock control, and disposing of serviceable and obsolete stores in appropriate manner.

  Duties and Responsibilities

(i)         Preparing tender documents;

(ii)        Participating in evaluating tenders & writing reports;

(iii)       Inspecting goods, works & services and writing reports;

(iv) Compiling and updating the list of the Organization’s vendors;

(v)        Receiving procurement requests from users and filing them;

(vi)       Preparing requests for quotations and sending invitations to vendors;

(vii)      Checking on the risk management matrix frequently;

(viii)     Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on the supply chain activities to ensure compliance and smooth running of the operations;

(ix)       Recording supplier contracts and service level agreements and writing reports;

(x)        Developing a vendor rating system/matrix;

(xi)       Receiving items brought in by suppliers through Receipt and Dispatch;

 (xii) Logging all incoming and outgoing supplies; and

(xiii) Participating in stock taking.

 

Requirements for Appointment

(i)        Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Procurement or the equivalent from a recognized institution;

(ii)       Proficiency in computer applications; and

(iii)      Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
