Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Job holder will role is responsible for formulation, implementation and review of policies, rules and strategies for specialized areas of Strategy & Business Development.

 

 Duties and Responsibilities

((i) Spearheading the development and implementation of the Organization’s planning policy;

(ii) Advising the Organization on planning and risk management issues;

(iii) Formulating, interpreting and implementing planning and monitoring strategies of the Fund’s activities and programmes;

(iv) Analyzing the organisation policies in order to provide informed advice on planning and economic policy issues to the Organisation;

(v) Participating in the development, implementation, and review of the Organization’s Strategic Plan;

 (vi) Monitoring the implementation of the Organization’s Strategic Plan, Work Plan and Performance Contracting;

(vii) Collating monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual organizational performance report;

(viii) Coordinating Corporate Performance Management process of all the directorates and divisions at the Organization; and

(ix) Coordinating the identification, mitigation and management of the risks in the entire Organization.

 

b) Requirements for Appointment

(i)    Served for a cumulative service period of twelve (12) years, three (3) of which must be at the level Principal Risk and Planning Management Officer, or a comparable position;

(ii)   Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Project Management, Business Administration or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution from a recognized institution;

(iii) Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Project Management, Business Administration or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution from a recognized institution;

(iv) Leadership Course certificate lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

(v)  Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing;

(vi) Practicing license where applicable;

(vii)Proficiency in computer applications;

(viii)   Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and

(ix) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
