Job Description

Job Summary:

Construct and install formwork (shuttering) used to shape concrete structures such as columns, beams, and slabs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret construction drawings
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal formwork
  • Install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures
  • Ensure alignment, level, and stability of shuttering
  • Repair or modify formwork as needed
  • Work closely with engineers and site supervisors
  • Maintain tools and ensure safety compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in formwork/shuttering carpentry
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in using carpentry tools and equipment
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
